The Walrus and the Carpenter by Lewis Carroll: Lewis Carroll's famous poem, The Walrus and the Carpenter, was originally published in 1871 in his book Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There. It was a wonderful bit of nonsense, recited to Alice during her encounter with Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
